MEET THE TEAM

Colette Dunn
Care Manager
With over 25 years of experience in the care sector, I have dedicated my career to supporting people across a wide range of health and social care settings. My journey in adult social care began in 1999 after moving to Wales, having previously worked in childcare as a registered childminder.
Over the years, I have gained extensive knowledge and hands-on experience working within social services, residential care, EMI and nursing settings, as well as local hospital environments. I have also held Registered Care Manager positions for three different care companies and now proudly work as the Registered Manager for Affinity Care.
I hold NVQ Level 3, NVQ Level 4, and a Level 5 Diploma in Care and Leadership, all of which have helped shape my passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting both clients and care teams to thrive.
Outside of work, I am a proud nanny to two gorgeous grandsons who I love spending time with. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, swimming, walking, and making the most of holidays with family and friends.

Catrin Hughes-Hyatt
Deputy Manager
Catrin has been working in the care sector since 2013, beginning her career working within her local school before moving into adult social care with a local care company. Through dedication and experience, she progressed from Care Worker to Senior Care Worker and later Assistant Area Manager, building a strong foundation of practical knowledge and leadership skills along the way.
She joined Affinity Care in 2015 as a Care Coordinator and has since progressed into her current role as Deputy Care Manager. Catrin has recently completed her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and is also the Manual Handling Train the Trainer lead for the local area, supporting and developing staff to deliver safe, high-quality care.
Catrin is passionate about providing compassionate, person-centred support and takes great pride in helping both clients and care teams feel valued and supported.
Outside of work, she has recently become a proud mum to her lovely little boy, Osian, and enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Cynthia Golder
Care Co-ordinator
Cynthia has over 12 years of experience working within the care sector and brings a wealth of knowledge, organisation, and professionalism to her role at Affinity Care as Care Coordinator. Having joined the team earlier this year, she has quickly become a valued member of the office and management team.
Throughout her career, Cynthia has worked in a variety of administrative, finance, and care-based roles, with extensive experience in the smooth running of busy offices, staff coordination, payroll, rota management, care planning, and supporting both clients and care teams. In her previous role within domiciliary care, she was responsible for overseeing day-to-day office operations while also assisting with care planning reviews, staff supervision, and liaising with external agencies and local authorities.
Cynthia holds a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care alongside a strong background in business administration, finance, and management. She is passionate about continuing her professional development and is looking forward to completing her Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications in the future.
